The Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch (ERS) 3500 is a series of eight high-performance compact Ethernet switches specifically designed for Mid-Market, SMEs, branches and open environments outside the wiring closet.

ETHERNET SWITCHES THAT ARE SIMPLE TO OPERATE

For smaller companies and branch offices, these Ethernet switches are easy to install, manage, and run. You can deploy them in open environments outside the wiring closet. Your switch connects to and powers end-user devices throughout the office. It comes with certified one-minute plug-and-play for IP phones, an intuitive management GUI, and automated set-up.

Models include 10- and 24-port variants, and standalone and stackable options. Our resilient stacking design supports pay-as-you-grow scaling—use up to 80 Gbps of virtual backplane capacity and connection for up to 200 devices. There are also fanless models for silent running in classrooms, hospitality suites, or retail sites.

Auto Set-Up for Avaya IP Office
The switch includes an automated script enabling fast, error-free installation when deployed with Avaya IP Office. The script automatically sets up VLAN, QoS, and other switch parameters, so IP Office and IP Phones are ready for immediate connection. Avaya takes a typically hours-long task— especially to someone not familiar with an Ethernet switch—and reduces it to a minute.

Intelligent Stacking Delivers Scalability
Avaya combines a non-blocking internal switching fabric with a high-speed virtual backplane, enabling proportional scaling and automated software configuration when new switches are added. Up to eight switches and 200 ports can be supported by cabling units together.
